1. Introduction

Welcome to Haksab. Haksab ("we", "our", or "us") operates the Haksab trivia quiz and real-world competition platform (the "Service"), available on our website (haksab.com) and mobile applications. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Service.

By creating an account, playing games, entering competitions, or otherwise using Haksab, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.

2. Use of Service and Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use Haksab. If you are under 18, you should have your parent or guardian review these Terms and supervise your use of the Service.

You may only use the Service for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Service complies with all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction.

3. Account Responsibilities

When you create an account (e.g., via Google, Apple, or Facebook sign-in), you must provide accurate and complete information. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the security of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Ensuring your username, display name, and profile photo comply with our guidelines

You may delete your account at any time via Profile → Settings → Delete Account. Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

4. User Conduct and Prohibited Actions

You agree not to:

• Cheat, exploit bugs, or use unauthorized tools to gain an unfair advantage in games or competitions
• Impersonate another person or entity
• Harass, abuse, or threaten other users
• Use your profile (display name, username, photo) in ways that are illegal, obscene, defamatory, or offensive
• Attempt to circumvent our security measures or access systems you are not authorized to use
• Use automated means (bots, scripts) to interact with the Service without our permission

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules. Repeated or serious violations may result in permanent bans.

5. Competitions, Season Pass, and Payments

Haksab offers paid features including the Season Pass and paid competitions. When you make a purchase:

• Payments are processed through Stripe, Paymob, Apple App Store, or Google Play as applicable
• Refunds are subject to the policies of the relevant payment provider and our refund policy
• Competition entry fees, prizes, and eligibility are set per competition and disclosed before entry
• Season Pass benefits and duration are described at the time of purchase

By entering a paid competition or purchasing the Season Pass, you agree to any additional terms displayed during checkout.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, questions, categories, logos, and other content (excluding profile information you provide), is owned by Haksab and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without our written permission.

By providing profile information (e.g., profile photos, usernames, display names) to your Haksab account, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute that content in connection with operating the Service.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Haksab and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claims related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or one hundred (100) US dollars, whichever is greater.

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason. You may terminate your use by deleting your account.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive (including intellectual property, limitation of liability, and dispute resolution) will remain in effect.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the new Terms, you must stop using the Service and may delete your account.
